How It Works

The Venus Versa Pro delivers precise pulses of light energy that are absorbed by hemoglobin, the pigment in blood. This heats the targeted vessel and causes it to collapse and seal, while the surrounding skin stays protected. Over the following weeks, your body naturally absorbs and clears the treated vessels, and redness fades.

What to Expect

We start by assessing your skin, discussing your history and goals, and making sure the treatment is right for you. This is also when we build your personalized treatment plan.

During treatment. A cooling gel is applied, and the handpiece is moved over the treatment area. Most clients describe the sensation as a quick, warm snap, similar to a light elastic band against the skin. Sessions typically take 15-40 minutes depending on the area treated.

After treatment. Mild redness, warmth, or slight swelling is normal and usually settles within a few hours to a day. Some treated vessels may look darker or more noticeable at first before fading. Most clients return to their normal routine right away.

Results

Some vessels fade immediately, while others clear gradually over the next few weeks.  Treated vessels don't return, but because rosacea is a chronic condition and new vessels can form over time, occasional maintenance sessions help keep skin clear and calm.

Is It Right for Me?

This treatment is ideal for anyone bothered by facial redness, visible veins, or rosacea. It may not be suitable if you have a recent tan, are pregnant, or are using certain photosensitizing medications. We'll review everything during your appointment.
